Visual Music

okay so it's been awhile.
so here' something to rock yo socks off.
It's called a Ruben's tube. If you want to know more about how it's set up, google it. But I think there is an instuctable actually. Anywho, when you play any sound through the speaker, you can actually SEE the waves of the sounds that are bouncing around inside, and changing the pressure. That in turn makes the flame visibly change. If that goes over your head, just think: pretty fire! :) [youtube]
-- at the very end of that video, it shows the end of The Phantom Of The Opera which is the only good song I could find. In the picture is one end of the Tube at school. I didn't even think to take a video of it, and it was too late when I pulled out my camera. On the flip side I have been pulling out my new best friend a lot. Unfortunately, the camera is a tad on the n00b side for me, an a lot of my pictures come out differently than I expect.

When I take pictures of Toby, he gets annoyed at first, but eventually just looks at me like "will you get that thing out of my cute little face, already?"

RE: wait and see

Well, I uploaded it to facebook. FB went all rhombus with it. I don't think I'm even going to try to fix that. I'm using a program called Photolapse, and I foggily remember reading something about it being a not-so-programish program.

Wait and see.

I've been messing around with stop motion animation for the past few days. My little cartoons are largely inspired by whatever I've been talking about around the time I get an idea. But anyway, I've still gotta clean up some shots, and zip 'em all up together in Photolaspe - these aren't going to be fancy you tube videos, by the way. Oh and I might make a little cartoon for Pants On The Ground. I keep singing that song in the hallways at school. Most people laugh but some glare. (Only because they know they are g-u-i-l-t-y!!!)

PS: this guy I have a little, er, inkling for - he has a cat named Snape. I knew he was a good one.

Snape. Snape. Severus Snape.
